About

The in between

I like contrasts and their poetry in between poles. I like art that shows what is there and turns the mundane into something elusive. Like words that are on your lips and yet refuse to be caught. A hat that blows off and keeps escaping while you try to grab it. The moment between stumbling and landing. The multipolar experience of being human, where binaries are an in-between space of potential.

I enjoy the sharp boundary between an inkblot and snow-white paper. To read how the years got anchored in a tree stump. To stand still in the middle of the city because the moon doesn’t hide its craters. To watch a plant grow while being in a hurry. Maybe, just maybe, one day I will reach an ultimate maturity and wish to reincarnate as a tree. To gain the patience to live in the here and now.

Meanwhile, I would  love to send you a holiday snapshot of the smell of moss.
